Debbie is a certified sport yoga instructor through NESTA. She has training in martial arts and has a medical background. She is particularly interested in yoga and stretching as a method of reducing injuries when performing a sport.
Unlike a lot of sports and exercise programs, yoga can be practiced by anyone. Young, old, short, tall, thin, overweight, male, female does not matter to the yoga practicioner. You learn to listen to your body and take care of it well. In turn, through yoga practice, your body will become better at coping with everyday stresses and strains that are put on it.
